So worth the time and money. Traveled over an hour to go. I would recommend the jump line tickets if not coming right when they open. Otherwise it is worth the money. Will go back next year.
The wait is to long, we were there before 7, about 30 people back we didn't get into the maze until after 8. Not very scary. There Were some highlights but mostly a yawn. Will not go again.

Since we don't live in the area, we didn't know much about the sanatorium. I decided to do some research on the facility and was immediately fascinated but when we saw it was going to be a haunted house for Halloween, we had to get tickets. We opted for the line jumper tickets and ended up being the first ones in with three other people and it was amazing. It wasn't scary at all....paid 5 bucks for the blackout maze and it was very well lighted....was very disappointing....I will never go there again!!
When I was going through something (an entity) grabbed my behind. It was in this skinny debris covered hallway. Whatever it was then proceeded to go after the girl right behind me. There was a sudden feeling in my stomach like it dropped. On the way home my mom jerked forward crying out. She said she felt something heavy on her chest and then the burning sensation started. On the back of her neck there are 3 tiny little scratches.
Perfect backdrop to a haunted house. And the little kids were the best actors!
