NP Felicia was incredible. She validated every concern that I had about my health and saw to it that I got prompt care for what I was experiencing. They took great care of me here and made sure that I was on my way home with a good treatment plan. I cannot thank everyone that participated in my care enough!
The nurse and nurse practitioners were wonderful with my toddler!! I didn't catch the second NP's name, but the main NP was Allison. We were in and out in about two hours without an appointment and three or four other patients ahead of us. We had no issues with any part of the process, and Allison clearly explained everything to both myself and my toddler before she proceeded with any treatments. No one wants to be in a doctor's office for an injury or illness, but Allison (and the other nurse and NP) helped make a tough day... read more
NP Burris was great. Sadly, the front desk receptionist, Tina, is the reason I won't be returning. Already, feeling sick and miserable Tina did a great job of making me feel worse. I could be more understanding if she had been busy, but when I checked in there was only one other person in the waiting room. She interrupted me while I talked, was very unfriendly, and made me feel as if she did not want me there. Not a great look for a healthcare professional. AVOID! Despite advertising itself as an "urgent care facility" SSM Health Urgent Care bills as an emergency facility so you are getting ER prices for substandard urgent care services. SSM Urgent Care will surprise bill you for emergency services despite assurances that it is an urgent care facility. I saw a nurse for less than 5 minutes for muscle strain and now have bills for over $800. SSM Urgent Care is a scam and should be avoided like an expensive plague.
The receptionist turned me and my boyfriend away saying they wouldn't prescribe him insulin even though he is a type 1 diabetic and is currently out, as they "just don't do that here"
