AVOID! Despite advertising itself as an "urgent care facility" SSM Health Urgent Care bills as an emergency facility so you are getting ER prices for substandard urgent care services. SSM Urgent Care will surprise bill you for emergency services despite assurances that it is an urgent care facility. I saw a nurse for less than 5 minutes for muscle strain and now have bills for over $800. SSM Urgent Care is a scam and should be avoided like an expensive plague.
The receptionist turned me and my boyfriend away saying they wouldn't prescribe him insulin even though he is a type 1 diabetic and is currently out, as they "just don't do that here"
DON"T GO HERE!!! You will receive awful service and then be charged a ridiculous amount of money for it. They bill as an emergency room. I have never been charged so much at any urgent care I've been to before. The first time I went he spent all of 5 minutes with me and asked me irrelevant questions. I was then prescribed random medicine that didn't fix the issue after a week and was told i had to come back and and be charged again if I want to try a different medication. Will not run insurance if you have Aetna Maritain. Called 4 time and sent several emails. Customer service is abysmal, and will not correct billing issue.
They say they’re open until 6:30pm. I walk in at 5:30pm with nobody in the waiting room and they refused me care. Talk about false advertising.
