During my visit and when I transported someone else, I had the unfortunate experience of observing Dr Billy Conn Beets. It appeared to me that he utterly failed to do reasonable exams. He also never went back to explain his diagnosis, nor treatment options. He seemed uncomfortable speaking to any sick Oklahoman, if you had a question you had to go to the lobby and talk through the plastic partion , in a public lobby. Horrible hospital.... plain and simple!!! Was brought in by Ambulance 3 time's within a month complaining of shortness of breath and chest pain and was told it's nothing serious and sent me home...mind you I have late stage 3 congestive heart failure and suffered a major heart attack that was building over the week's I went to this hospital for help to prevent it from happening, thankfully I was in Ada and was transported to Mercy Hospital at the time I suffered my heart attack or I am pretty sure I would not have survived..... read more

Careful bring people to this ER. I brought an unresponsive Teen/Young adult to the ER, I told them I needed help bring them in, the lady at the desk pointed me toward the wheel chair, then they wanted information instead of addressing the medical emergency first. Come to find out the next day they essentially kicked her out the hospital without proper discharge papers or diagnoses. I reached out to SSM about this and they don't want to comment stating HIPPA.
