I went to the ER around 6:00 pm last night. I had lower right quad pain. Understandably the ER was packed but all and all we were only there for about 2 hours before I got called back. Every time I’ve had to use the ER they have been friendly, professional, kind and caring. It’s for me always been a very good experience. Exactly as you would hope and expect from having to use the ER.
Whoever SHELLY is on the 3rd floor, Extremely disappointed with the service at Shawnee hospital. The receptionist was unprofessional and showed no care or empathy when I asked for assistance locating my father, who was transferred from the 3rd floor just 12hrs prior. She was unhelpful and acted as if providing basic information was an inconvenience and didn't even know where he'd been sent! I quote "I'm sorry dear I don't know what to tell you". Wonderful staff on L&D floor 10 out of 10!!! Excellent care and customer service.
Was treated really good very professional and the nurses did a fantastic job.
