Sept 15th 2025 I ordered egusi w/ fish and jollof rice. I basically spent $30 eating a dish of salt!! I love egusi but someone used a seasoning that tasted like pure salt. The jollof rice was average. This is my second try with them..im moving on😔 Note.This was the pick up only establishment on oak street

delicious african cuisine, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. the jollof rice and plantains are a must-try!

I’m giving this restaurant 2 stars only because the person I spoke with on the phone was very polite. The food itself was terrible. I ordered Amala with Ewedu, Asun Jollof, and Ewa Goyin with Agege bread. The only thing worth mentioning was the Ewa Goyin. The Asun Jollof didn’t taste authentic at all, and the Amala with Ewedu was the worst. The ponmo was as strong as a rubber. My first time here and definitely my last — wasted almost $100.
