The S.S. Badger is the largest car ferry to ever sail Lake Michigan and has provided a safe, fun, and reliable shortcut across the inland sea for more than fifty years. The ferry takes passengers, autos, RVs, tour buses, motorcycles, bicycles, and commercial trucks across Lake Michigan between Ludington, Michigan and Manitowoc, Wisconsin from mid-May through mid-October.

I am a big ship geek and the S.S. Badger is the closest thing I will ever find to the ocean liners and passenger steamers that are no longer with us or no longer sailing.. She is a wonderful and valuable piece of this country's and lake michigan's history and I hope she will continue to sail for many years to come!!

We had a Awesome and Wonderful Trip today on the Badger !!!! The last trip of the Season 2013 and the weather was Wonderful. Thank you to all the Staff, Bob, and Captain it was a Experience my Son will Never Forget :)
