The ferry takes passengers, autos, RVs, tour buses, motorcycles, bicycles, and commercial trucks across Lake Michigan between Ludington, Michigan and Manitowoc, Wisconsin from mid-May through mid-October.

It was a very pleasant trip and a real time saver
The Badger is the best part of a long drive from Bismarck, ND, to my native heath in Clare County, MI; the staff is friendly and efficient, even in the wee hours of the morning. The environment is peaceful; and though I have indulged in a stateroom from time to time, the best way to travel is laying on a deck chair at the bow, staring up at the stars. I look forward to the next time.

A chance to ride a historical large ship on open water relaxing as you cross Lake Michigan to Wisconsin without having to deal with the Chicago traffic.
We had the best time. Badger Bingo is fun and the event of the crossing. The staff was very helpful all round.
