He saw that there was a need for an honest mechanic in the area and has built his reputation over the years with his customers. First time using this mechanic for my car service. Feel a bit cheated honestly. Booked in for standard service ($189) and agreed the cost over the phone during appointment booking as I was only after that service offering, nothing else. After drop off, receicved a call saying X needed to be fixed. Again, price was given over the phone and I accepted as I confirmed $189 as I assumed he was talking about things already agreed upon (minor service).
