I have had some serious neck and shoulder pain for approximately 2 years and I tried everything from having 3 series of ablations and 2 Epidurals, numerous chiropractic visits and nothing worked. 2 weeks after having posterior cervical formatory surgery. I feel great. Dr Iyer is not only a great dr. But just a compassionate guy that I always felt comfortable with in making this decision of having surgery. Thank you again for allowing a chance to have my old life back .
Dr. Iyer is amazing. He was very thorough and my recovery was incredibly straightforward. I had a microdiscectomy and returned to work the next day. I am now pain free. I would highly recommend him.
Dr Iyer is one of the best doctors i have had, he is very patient and explains everything thoroughly. All I can say is iam feeling better then I did in a long time. His staff at the office are very helpful from the beginning to the end of this process. If your looking for a surgeon he his the dr you can trust. HSS is truly the 👌
His office staff scheduled an appointment in westchester but he didn't show up . When I called to inquire, they said I could come to Manhatten.
My sciatic pain was debilitating before the triple laminectomy that Dr. Iyer performed. After surgery pain was minimal ( no pain meds need after 3 days) and the nerve pain in my legs and buttocks was totally eliminated. It is now 5 weeks after the surgery and I have been cleared for all normal activities which I am pursuing pain free. I would also note that Dr. Iyer and his staff have been a pleasure to deal with. Kudos to HSS as well.
