Though they gave a weak excuse for not being able to move tables around on the patio to accommodate our party of six, the food was reasonably good. Not that "knock your shoes off" experience but it was pleasant enough. Might go back, but won't travel there just for this restaurant.
A little hidden gem tucked away in an alley in Brevard. The service and food are consistently good. I recommend the pimiento cheese burger with bacon, and either vegetables or those amazing sweet potato chips. Dinner entree choices were a bit heavy on the fish for my tastes, but, we will be back.

We love The Square Root and go whenever we are in town. The service is great, the food is excellent, and it is just an awesome atmosphere. We would highly recommend lunch or dinner (you might need a reservation on a busy weekend!). 😀
This is the only place we go to eat lunch when we visit Brevard. Great food, cold beer and lots more.
Nice place, good music and food and drinks were great.
On a day when it would be "totally" understandable for the staff to feel overwhelmed, the staff (especially Ally the hostess) was not only NOT stressed, they were above and beyond professional to every customer that walked in. This eclipse day visit was our first, but definitely NOT our last.
