we love the location of the Square Rigger Lodge. Basic, bur clean and comfortable rooms right on the lake with a wonderfu, sandy beach. A coffee/bakery shop onsite & shops, kayaks rentals, grocery store, pubs, farmers market and restaurants are all within walking distance. we are already planning our next stay here!
Beautiful views of Lake Michigan with lake/beach access, coffee/light meal shop, and fire pit. The staff is awesome.

We just returned home from our third stay. After finding this place last fall, we returned during the past summer and now took a ride to see the fall colors and relax. The owners are so welcoming and the motel is clean and comfortable. Complimentary coffee is available in the office each morning, and the coffee shop next door is an added bonus on weekends offering delicious frittatas and sweet treats. Very well kept and clean motel. Would highly recommend. The location is perfect along the shore of Lake Michigan.
