Visited here twice over the weekend. Location is perfectly halfway (timewise) from the drive to and from Miami to Key West. Large menu with great fresh seafood. Grouper sandwich was wow. Key Lime pie was better than I had in Key West. Ron helped us both times and he is very good. The second visit on Sunday, the place was very crowded and some people were waiting. Well they handled everyone very quickly and accurately. I was impressed how quickly our food came out when it was a full house.
Square Grouper Islamorada We were at first a little annoyed that they don't offer service from 2:30-5 pm. We would have liked to have a late lunch but dinner was well worth the wait and cost. We started with the most amazing smoke fish dip made of mahi. I told the rest of my group I could have eaten just that and been happy. Special place in mid-Keys. Upstairs bar w nice view out back. Separate menu from downstairs. Restaurant w bar downstairs. Great seafood. GF available. Menu items marked.
Fried conch was the best I ever had and then had the coconut shrimp and hands down also the best I have ever had. Wish I could take this restaurant with me back to Texas. Highly recommend to go eat.
