This is a predatory loan institution. If you get a loan from Springleaf they will do everything they can to keep you from paying it. I took a loan out 4 months ago and have been paying twice the required monthly amount since then. They have raised the interest rates twice in 4 months. They take the money out of my account whenever they feel like it, not on the day agreed upon- in hopes I guess that my money won't be in my account so they can charge a late fee.
