4.5 stars if I could. We were in Sacramento for a short trip and this was a great place to stay. The gym was excellent!! (Any gym with tons of weights, a rower and disinfectant to wipe down what you used is a huge plus.) We found the rooms very functional. Loved the reading lights, the ‘fridge in a cabinet so you couldn’t hear the humming, and very decent breakfast! Our only complaint was paying $10 for parking…we were out in the boonies with tons of parking spaces so why the charge?

2nd stay here and the quality of sleep I get here is remarkable! The halls are quiet, the guest seem to be business folks (we stay during the week). The staff is friendly and the rooms are exceptionally clean!

This is as good as you're going to get in West Sacramento. That is not the same thing as it being "good", however. I want to clarify that the staff here is doing the best they can under the circumstances, but Marriott is not setting them up for success. They are friendly and attentive as they can be, but are visibly exhausted and there are noticeably very few of them. This hotel is the epitome of a late-stage capitalism, corporate greed cash grab.
