What’s up with the minimalist aesthetics any more? No hooks for hanging toiletries or anything for that matter. In today’s world you pay more for less and the customer is the last in consideration. Can’t get Netflix to work either. Remotes are another thing if they even work half the time. Slow response and Netflix buffering till the end of time. Can’t they just give us Airplay? Sucks all around….
We stayed in room 207 and were pleased to see the rooms look and feel clean when walking in. The rooms had ample space except for the entrance. ( the couch crammed you in amd it was difficult to get luggage through the door). We were very happy with the room until the next day. We woke up with scratchy throats and a terrible odor. "We frequent Charleston for weekend getaways and decided to try this hotel for the first time. It appears to be a fairly new property with a great location and nice photos, but the room amenities were surprisingly dated. The room looks nice at first glance, but...this is the first hotel we’ve stayed at in years that didn't have USB ports. The beds are very hard, pillows lumpy and uncomfortable. The room was decent but the floors were not vacuumed. The shower needed to soap dispensers to be refilled. The management was accommodating and made sure we had the required bedding needed for the pull out bed.
