I recently reserved a room at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Antonio SeaWorld/Lackland and the rooms were in poor condition due to plumbing issues and electrical issues with the lighting. Although the staff were friendly we experienced too many problems with the conditions of two different rooms. The first night of our stay the tub would not drain water. I did not really enjoy my stay. I was kind of looking forward to the swimming pool, but the swimming pool was a lot smaller than it looks in the pictures. Didn’t even use it. They charge for no security parking and it wasn’t cheap. They charged my child as an adult. There was three of us and on the receipt it says there were four occupants. One thing I thought was weird you have to turn on the mini fridge separate but what’s the point Of having a mini fridge, if it takes half the day for it to cool down? We were here 3 days, a great spot to stay if you have anything to do at Lackland. Everyone on staff was super attentive. Heated pool was nice and kept the kids occupied for hours. Breakfast buffet is NNNOICCCEEE, and OMG they have good coffee.
Super clean hotel - I smelled cleaning products the moment the glass doors opened for me & I rolled my luggage inside. Friendly Staff & the breakfasts was well-organized & well-presented. Good breakfast options, too. My room was clean & I was extremely happy with it for the price I paid! I would certainly return to this hotel in the future!! And as an added bonus, there is an awesome sports bar/restaurant in the parking lot you can just walk over for dinner.
