I’m surprised by the high reviews of this hotel. It’s probably the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Although, if this was considered a motel, which it would be if not for the complimentary breakfast, it would be the best motel I’ve stayed at. In terms of positives, I can say that the gentleman at the front desk was helpful, and it was nice to chat with him. The overall layout of the room is good. Ottimo hotel. Consigliato
The room had a strong, unusual smell, but It was cleaned. The location was okay. The staff on the other hand should be trained better. Hotels are in the business of hospitality and customer service, specially "The Marriott". I tried to speak with the manager, Mr. Jerry about maybe some ideas of customer experience improvement and Mrs. Jay one of his staff. It was a respectful phone call with Mr. Jerry. I was planning on staying here however, I have to agree with the other comments regarding the front desk staff. Rebecca was completely rude. I called to inquire about the damage fee deposit and she acted as if I was speaking in a language she didn't understand. And with an attitude, she asked me " what do you mean, incidental fee hold on your credit card?? "
