Great location. Not a great property. Not a great staff. Horrible shower. The property is not dilapidated, but they are definitely not keeping up with routine TLC. Overall, the property was pretty quiet. However, the plumbing problem is unbearable. Any time anyone uses the plumbing nearby, it makes a loud horrible noise. I LOVE a hot shower, but the shower here was dangerously hot. Not warm, and no cold water. Literally, scalding hot. Unusable. Dangerous for children or the elderly. A shower was impossible. Strange smells, "incidentals charge" (for what? there are no incidentals), wifi that doesn't work properly, hot water issues, stains, ants, lackluster service - this is a budget hotel at a premium price. The bed was comfortable.
First room was really dirty and the fridge was busted. There was food on the microwave and stains in the fridge. Food or something on the nightstand too. We asked for a new room because we had to store milk. Second room was just as bad and the fridge still didn’t work. The third room was acceptable and the staff really tried to help. But not what I’d call clean by any standard. The staff even upgraded us to help, but between the first two rooms and the overall dinginess of the hotel it just made it unpleasant.
