Weirdly, kind of a dump. While the staff were friendly, the hotel building is really in decay. Hot and stuffy rooms with few working lights, stains everywhere, loose plumbing fixtures, and loud noises from the building and the adjacent highway. But, close to CLT airport.
Very nice and clean; friendly staff. Great breakfast.
I booked this hotel for a business trip and was scheduled to stay for two nights. However, after experiencing horrible customer service and poor room conditions, I left after just one night. From the moment I arrived, the experience was disappointing. The front desk clerk was sitting by the entrance, talking and playing on her phone. Very poor service. Sat at the counter waiting to get checked in with two guys behind the counter not really sure what they were doing. Took 10 min to get checked in with no line. Room was dripping water behind shower the wall. Shower wall had two large cracks in it. Then breakfast was lights out until 6:35am. When I asked if we could turn the lights on.
