I had a very disappointing stay at the Marriott SpringHill Suites in Baton Rouge. The property is in serious need of updates and basic maintenance. When I first checked in, the door to my room was literally broken off the hinge and would not close properly. I went back to the front desk and the manager initially told me I would have to stay in the room because the hotel was “sold out.” It was around 11 PM and the parking lot had plenty of open spaces, so that explanation didn’t seem accurate. This is a great hotel for lady of our lake hospital. Room is very spacious can fit family of 4 easily, maybe 6 if you choose 2 full size beds. There is a sofa that can convert to a day bed, with a trundle. Room is very clean no bed bugs (we always check for this first thing) There is a microwave and a fridge in the living room with a desk also. The front desk manager is very accommodating with our unknown check out date. We did not know for sure when our brother would be discharged from the hospital.
The front desk clerk Blake is very rude and disrespectful
