About this business
Victory Square is the largest homeless men shelter in Springfield and the Ozarks with 150 beds. We provide our shelter guests with a clean, safe and sober place to stay, and the support they need to get back on their feet. Here, they receive a bed to sleep on, nutritious meals, healthcare services and access to the 12/12 Program, Bible studies, life skills courses and Christian counseling.

I have congestive heart failure and ran out of bus tickets and got stuck on other end of town so I couldn't make it back to the mission at the ten o'clock curfew but instead of letting me explain myself, they just had all my stuff packed up and threw it out in the street at me. I almost had a heart attack trying to make it back in time but I ran out of air and they didn't ask for an explanation. That place is. Not for homeless people it is just to make a profit
Not enough room inspections three times the staff then 6 years ago and still can't get it done 👍 plus the other roommates do their best to keep up with their area why is there a exception to the rules, I want to thank you for your time and to share it with the front desk staff. But in all honesty the staff and chaplain aren't doing the " Guest's " any real favors by allowing them to run over the rules and the staff.. Seems to me and several other's. That the word " GRACE " has been taken to a whole new level. People who continuously get away with the rules.ie not making their beds , just a simple thing. But it shows your first accomplishment, for the day. Can't clean up after themselves. Rooms are in disarray. Phones are supposed to be off after 10 PM. Now I feel maybe, that the board of directors and the staff. Should be required to spend a week or two. Here in the lodge. Maybe then , the word GRACE. Would be re-examined. And said rules... read more
