I had a great time, found many things at good prices. Those hard to find items. The vendors, very nice individuals that took time to talk to you. We go twice a year!
Jerri from @The Weathered Shed and Janet from @Black Sheep Mercantile @ The Loft (WISCONSIN LADY PICKER's) spent the entire weekend hunting and pick'n! Had the best time EVER! We were first timers.. endured the RAIN sweltering and chilly Ohio weather conditions! LOVed haggling with the wonderful venders and the merch was all one could ever ask for! WooHoo had a blast! See ya next year.
Outstanding show!!! Found many treasures. Thinking about all the things I passed up and wondering if I can fit a repeat visit into my weekend! :)
Truthfully, I prefer the non-extravaganza weekends coming out to the Fairgrounds,. but the vendors were there in full force yesterday and there surely was plenty to see. Parking was a nightmare though...and $15 a person to enter was a bit steep. We drove close to 3 hrs from the Cleveland area, and arrived before 9am. Lots and lots of furniture, plants, arts & crafty things, and glassware. I go for vintage jewelry, and that was pretty sparse, and what was there was way way overpriced. My friend and I got to the fair at 9:30a.m. and paid $15 admission. Many many dealers were still setting up with bins still full of their stuff. We felt cheated that we paid such a high admission fee and the dealers were still setting up. The dealers told us they had a very short time to get in and get set up and so the customers were penalized because we couldn't see their merchandise! What an outstanding event!!! Bathrooms are clean and have toilet paper and paper towels and the trash is picked up! But the best part is there is a treasure for everyone! I love this event!!!!
Phenomenal show! This was our third year to attend the spring extravaganza, and we will return next year. The naysayers are simply cranky. The show is huge and the many vendors make shopping fun. It took us eleven hours over two days to see it all. Kudos to the organizers. Job well done!
The $15 entry fee was worth it!! My Mom and I took a girls trip to attend. The staff was nice, and so helpful. The mixture of items was great!!! I got so many different eclectic items for my home. We will definitely go again. It was HUGE!!!
