One of a kind! Dr. Bissell has a wisdom beyond education and experience. Instinct, intuition and a close relationship with my dog kept him healthy through difficult times, despite opposing opinion of other vets. He cares as if they are his own. He is always thorough, compassionate and caring. He is truly a rare find and I would recommend him to everyone who owns a dog!
kind and compassionate I brought in my 2 dogs today and although the dogs were loud and crazy Dr Bissell was very kind and understanding. I found the entire staff and the Dr.s extremely kind and compassionate. I would never let any one else take care of my crew and highly recommend this hospital to anyone.
Great Doctor!!! We had a great visit today with Dr. Bissell. Very kind and really has a special way with animals. My dog is not the friendliest and it was amazing how he warmed up to Dr. Bissell. We were there for vaccines and itchiness and nothing serious but we ( my wife and myself) thought he was a great Vet. We highly recommend Dr. Bissell and the Hospital. Although the hospital is on the old side - but it was clean and busy.
great diagnostician Dr Bissell is great. Very interesting Dr and very intuitive. He was able to find out what was wrong with our lab -shep mix very quickly. The hospital was referred from the emergency Hosp (RVRC) and I love them. They love animals ( and not all vets do!) and they are honest! I've only been going there for 8 months or so but they are great. I've seen Dr. Bissell 3 times and my dog Diabolo loves him. He licks his face and loves him. Very cute. Anyway highly recommended,
I trust Dr Bissell! I've been taking my dogs to this vet office since Dr Bissell took over the practice. I do agree that sometimes things get busy but when it's our turn to see the doc - whomever we are seeing - they take the time to go over everything, and I usually get a follow up call if there was something wrong to make sure things are improving. Compassionate and honest hospital I think they are a great hospital. I have been using this hospital for 2 years or so after my husband was transferred to the Washington area. They were recommended by a couple of neighbors. They always do what is right for the animal and have always put the animal's care and health before all else. Great place This hospital is truly extraordinary. The receptionists are a great blend of cute and smart. The technicians are fantastic - smart and really know what is going on. we worked with Laurie and really above average. We worked with Dr. Bissel and though he was late for the appointment - he was very busy and got the job done. It is so funny how our dog loves him. Definitely has the whole 'dog whisperer' thing going. Any way this is the place to go when you other family member needs help.
Long Time Patient I've been taking my dog to Springfield Animal Hospital for all of his 14 years and they have been wonderful. The doctors and staff are very caring and knowledgeable, and they have always been able to see my dogs the same day I call for an appointment.
grreat place We had to bring our basset hound in today and this place was great. They were very busy but made time to surgically biopsy my dog and do a very thorough workup. He will be transferred for advanced cancer treatment but this place was fantastic. Compassionate and quality. I have a very high regard for the professionalism and honest caring that was shown today. I highly recommend this hospital. Laurie, the technician was fantastic!
