Went to Dr. Frank for an injection for my plantar fasciitis…..I was very nervous because I had heard that they were painful. He did an excellent job and I barely felt the needle. Was very impressed.

I was able to get a same-day appointment with Dr. Frank. I had never seen a DPM before. I had 2 in-grown nails, one very minor, the other was quite painful, and required numbing. Dr. Frank clipped both nails without difficuty, and gave me instructions for care at home. He encouraged me to call him if problems developed, and no follow-up appointment was scheduled. I was not impressed with Dr. Frank. I used to go to Dr. Shadel prior to his passing and then moved to a Dr. In North Dayton. During every visit, the Dr trimmed my nails and his nurse would massage my feet with some kind of lotion. The reason I've gone to a podiatrist to have my nails trimmed is I cannot feel much in my toes. I usually end up bleeding and causing more problems. Dr Frank cut my nails unevenly and while using the sander, sanded two spots through my skin causing it to bleed. I could have done that myself.

I had a great experience w/Dr. Frank! His somewhat dry sense of humor & friendly, low-key personality made me feel comfortable & more relaxed. I was having pretty severe pain in my big toe recently(which was also very red & swollen all around the cuticle at the nailbed & down to the 1st knuckle). Dr. Frank immediately spotted the problem-- a strep infection, that had I waited another 48 hrs would have landed me in the hospital w/possible severe complications due to it's spreading(possibly to my heart)! If I could choose 0 stars I would! This guy is a wack!!! I JD an infected ingrown toenail and went here to get it fixed. Ever since he “fixed it I have had so many problems and so much pain with ingrown toenails!!! I would never recommend this place! Do yourself a favor and NEVER go here!!
