The quality of the home build is disappointing. For instance, Kwikset doorknobs were used and within the first couple of months started falling off. Let me tell you, when it's -10 you don't want a gapping hole in your front door. So we went to home Depot, bought a bunch of schlage handles and as the Kwikset knobs came off swapped them out. In the year+ since we've done that, only one Schlage has needed to even be tightened. The LVP flooring seams are noticeable. I had previously posted a positive review, however the builder never took care of the warranty work that was required after a year, we submitted the request several times, they used COVID as their reason to be slow, but 2 years later, we are still waiting for them to take care of the minor work that is needed and was supposedely covered by the warranty. Good sales service, poor post sale service.
We bought our first home with DR Horton and we couldn’t be happier. Meredith was very accomodating, professional and went above and beyond to help us achieve our dream of being a homeowner. Will definetly recommend!
