This was my first time using a CPA. I hired Evan Hacker to file taxes on behalf of my late mother, including her revocable trust and final individual return. During our initial interactions, he appeared competent; however, once the work began, several red flags emerged. While reviewing the trust filing, I noticed multiple errors, including incorrectly indicating that my mother was over 65 at the time of her passing, along with other numerical inconsistencies. Knowledgeable and professional! Evan was able to help me with the closing out of my deceased mother’s trust. He also helped me get her back taxes completed. Evan was very easy to work with.
