My 7 year old was allowed on the slide and diving boards for over 2 hours and then came up crying due to management not allowing him due to hight restrictions that had not been enforced for 2 hours prior. He was not allowed to do the rock wall because he had not taken a swim test but was allowed to continue jumping off the diving boards in the same depth of water. Their rules make sense. Their enforcement does not and will ruin your trip for your family.
We were here for about an hour and won’t be back. You can’t do anything without getting a whistle blown at you and as someone new to the area we weren’t aware of the rules, nor are they seen anywhere in the facility. All of the lifeguards we encountered had an attitude, and unfortunately it ruined the experience for us. I’m normally not someone to write reviews but this was insane.
I have never been somewhere with so many rules. The price goes up everytime we come and the lifeguards pick and choose what rules they choose to enforce on a given day. They've lost my business for good. We used to love coming here but it seems every year, there's more and more rules. It's not fun to come anymore. You can't do anything without getting a whistle blown at you. I understand rules are put into place for safety, but spring lake pool has taken it to the excess, making it impossible to enjoy yourself.
