Finding Spring Hills for my mother has been a god send! We had been turned away from other places due to some of my mother's health issues, but the amazing Catherine Hayes (Cat) got it done! The location is also gorgeous and the perfect mix of a gorgeous fancy home, and a lovely hotel. It is nothing like I thought an assisted living/nursing home would look like (or smell like with some other facilities I toured). When we first brought my family member to Spring Hills, they did everything they could to convince us to move in. Unfortunately, once we became residents, the experience quickly went downhill. Management has changed and is now very rude and dismissive. The only person in management who has been genuine and approachable is the nursing director. I called in for information about taking some in and the person named Kay was very short and show what rude. I am glad. It didn’t worked out. Because I would’ve not wanted to see my family in a place like that where just right off the back you get a bad impression.

I moved my mother from another facility to Spring Hills Lake Mary over a month ago and couldn't be happier. What a fantastic room compared to what she had before. The price point is amazing compared to several locations nearby, and I hope they continue to be more competitive than other locations. Yesterday, my mother was admitted to the hospital for trying to exit her bed and slipping. She was in pain and, to be safe was taken to the ER for X-rays. We had the privilege of visiting the facility today. My colleague and I were pleased to observe a special resident-directed meeting to discuss what the residents wanted to eat. We have been working in long-term care for many years and have never seen such care for their residents as we saw today—to hear their desires and become part of the dining experience.
