Soooo.. we are super raging fans of Spring Gardens in Springfield. I’ve lived between Thailand, SE Asia and the pacific nw my whole life and this restaurant is authentic like the hole in the wall restaurants in Hong Kong and Singapore! The salt and pepper squid is to die for. Always perfectly cooked which is difficult with calamari... delish! Clams with black bean sauce and so much more!!
Food is so super fresh, so delicious portions are huge, I had the shrimp fried rice the shrimp are huge and super fresh, lived in spfld my whole life never been inside wished, I went sooner....We will be back..
while the overall motif is dated, the food more than makes up for it. I had the bbq duck lunch special . The skin was just the right amount of crispy with a "not too cooked" delish duck. my wife had the beef: tender with very generous portions. Recommend.
