Located just outside Milwaukee in the city of Glendale, Sprecher is a small brewery which was founded in 1985 by Randal Sprecher. The brewery was actually located in Milwaukee's Walker's Point area until 1994 when a need to expand brought the brewery to the city of Glendale. Just visited the facility for a tour with the family. I thought it was enjoyable though my wife was a little less enthusiastic. (We visited on a weekend.) The tour is definitely a good value if you enjoy beer! The taproom is great space to hang out with friends or family and the all staff were friendly. They have board games for all ages to play and good snacks. I also enjoyed collecting the various souvenir cups from the tour. Would visit again with friends.
We had a blast at Sprecher. We played games and had some samples while waiting for our tour. Our guide was fantastic. After the tour, we enjoyed the chicken nachos and, of course, more samples.
Came for a tour for my girlfriend’s birthday (it’s her favorite root beer (which is saying a lot)) and they did NOT disappoint! Our tour guide was a wonderful presenter and it was great to learn about the history of the company. We were rolling through town on the amtrak, and they were extremely friendly and accommodating about our luggage. Great experience, can’t recommend it enough!
