Great customer service! Food was AMAZING! More on the expensive side, they accommodated our kiddo very well!
We didn't stay in a room but my husband took me to the tavern for dinner on my birthday. We ordered the brie as an appetizer and it was not melty like brie should be. It wasn't heated enough. This is the second time that has happened to me here. Next came my soup. I got the clam chowder and it was a little too much on the salty side. For our entree I had the beef wellington and my husband had the osso bucco. When our meals came my husband started with a bite of mashed potatoes. What an awesome place to stay! Beautifully decorated with antiques and memorabilia. Our room (the Van Buren room) was small but very comfortable. Ice cold water and delicious cookies awaited in our room. Service was excellent. Staff were attentive and always available to answer questions or address needs. Dinner was superb.
