Great food and atmosphere. It's like stepping back in time to the 1800s in the qouint little village of Hanoverton. The Spread Eagle Tavern is a must see as well as trying the great food. The service was outstanding.

Best steak I have had in a very long time wasn't very busy introvert approved..... parking lot was confusing and small.
Went to Spread Eagle last night for dinner. This restaurant is definitely overrated. We ordered wine and then our dinner. I ordered the Beef Wellington which was just okay. There was very, very little puff pastry, actually almost none. The filet was a little on the tough side. My dinner companion ordered the Walleye which was a really bad dinner. When he ordered, the waitress told it that it came with a disclaimer that the fish may contain bones. BONES??? Why would you even serve it if you knew it may have bones? We have din... read more
