Dr. Spotts staff was very welcoming. He got right to the point and conducted my procedure. I thank him.
On March 10, 2022, I was scheduled for a follow/up appointment at 1:00 pm. I arrived on time and was greeted by the receptionist and was in the exam room around 1:08 pm. The nurse asked for the reason for my visit and said that Dr. Spott will be with me shortly. However, I sat in the exam room for an hour, and no one came in the room to provide an update. I had to cancel my appointment and was not able to be seen by Dr. Spott. Now, I have scheduled an appointment with a new dermatology practice.
Doctor David Spott was my Doctor for over Ten years. I only lost him because of my Insurance and that was over five years ago. Now, today in September 2019, Cigna Insurance, gladly let me know that I can again have him back as my Dermatologist. I am over-whelmed with joy. I truly had " A Feeling" of something telling to me too, TRY again to see if just maybe he has accepted my Insurance Again. Yes, I am a judgmental individual. The worst dermatologist in the DMV area!! Misdiagnosed me several times! Prescribed the wrong ointment. I had an allergic reaction to that ointment. He doesn’t do a full exam. He takes a Breif look at your issue. Do not go here!!! Old guy with old methods that’s doesn’t understand mordern day medicine! Please do not go here! I spend thousands of dollar for nothing! He just wants your money and doesn’t care!
Been seeing him for about 10 years. Knows his stuff and has a very engaging manner.
