We resent the way we are directed to the "Brace Shop" before exiting the building. We paid $40 for an elbow brace that can be purchased at WalMart for under $20. Our doctor mentioned WalMart, but the form told us what to get at the Brace Shop and we unknowingly overpaid for the product there. This happens at many medical facilities these days...they want to make even more money off of their patients.
The doctor is fine. Trying to get his nurse to call me back to schedule my MRI is impossible. I have never seen such lack of attention. I have called every single day now for 8 days in a row, left messages and nothing. I guess I will reschedule a new appointment with the doctor himself and get results that way. Ridiculous waste of every ones time.
went 2 times for my spine. Xray's both times, had to go a second time for MRI`s, because the first visit was botched due to insurance because of SPORTSmed. Second visit, I got MRI`s, and was told I would be called with results. 10 days later, a voicemail to the nurse, and I still have no results. Sorry SPORTSmed, what is your motto?
Englewood Location - ZOO - overcrowded and overbooked. They have so many patients and no room for exercise. Although nice, staff are unable to give consistent care as they are being pulled in so many directions. Environment - less than zero. Tried many different time slots but was always busy. Not a sign of good work but the company just taking every patient regardless of availability.
RecommendedI had knee surgery today performed by Dr. Layton. It was my second knee surgery with him-different knee this time-and my experience both times was superb. Dr. Layton isn’t a big talker, but he is caring, compassionate, and an excellent surgeon. His staff is also wonderful, particularly Jeremy and Cassie.
