I’ve been to many gyms, and while you can definitely find cheaper, more “chain-style” options, this local gym is something special. I really like knowing my membership supports the local community, and the value you get here is hard to beat. The facility has plenty of space, a welcoming atmosphere, and more amenities than I expected, including a basketball court, workout room, two full pools, and a sauna (to much to list). Good place to do gym and swimming. The pools are sometimes a little dirty. Same for restrooms.
Like many, I gained some weight during the lockdowns of the Pandemic. Sportscenter became my community. The laid-back and focused atmosphere, spacious facilities, amenities, and all the training equipment you could ever want kept me coming 4 - 5 days a week. They have multiple Squat racks, Leg Presses, etc. Sauna, outdoor and indoor pools, elite personal trainers (ask for Kieon), just to name a few of the offerings. They do a drop in and I would recommend trying before you join. Women's bathroom needs lots of lightbulbs fixed, indoor pool is not the cleanest I've ever seen and is not heated (or at least it wasn't when I was there) and there is an annoying kids swimming class that takes up the entire pool for half the morning on Saturdays. Don’t do business with these people. When you try to cancel they keep charging you even after you cancel in person and have receipts, phone messages and documentation that it was supposed to be canceled. They then act annoyed when you call them out on it
