not-sports plus My experience with this facility was just awful. I skated the stick time with my little boy and the ice was terrible. The staff was rude, well when you could find somebody to help you, it's filthy and the skate sharpening i received was the worst. unbalanced and not even sharp. I much rather prefer the ice @northland or the gardens and northland has hands down the best skate sharpening in the city. i will never go back to sports plus and i advise the same to you
Stan M For all hockey player you should check out the Rapidshot and other training facilities run by Coach Pokupec. Rapidshot is like a batting cage except for hockey. Our kids have improved their accuracy, speed and puck reception by using it.
family fun! Sports plus is great for the whole family. You can play basketball, rock climb, or even ice skate. There is an arcade for the kids and a bar for the adults. Perfect for everyone!
Avoid like the plague Based on their brochure we threw a party for our 10 year old son and 10 of his friends at this horrible, horrible facility! We spent over $200.00 and were supposed to have a private room, arcade points, 3 activities all coordinated for us by a "Party Host". We never had a host the whole night. We had to go back to the desk numerous times asking the rude, lazy staff to help us. There are a lot of great places for a kids Birthday Party in Cincinnati - this is NOT one of them. Great Learn to Skate Program! The arenas are ok and the ice is better than at Northland but what makes Sports Plus stand out is their learn to skate program run by Denise & Bob Mackey ... great job ... we love it! Check out the lessons at www.learntoskatecincinnati.com.
