My doctor recommended a recumbent bicycle for my back. I stopped in after work and non-pressure salesperson suggested two different units. I was sold on the AFG 2.0 - sturdy / great value / fair price / quiet. The rest of the week I tried other places and brands like Schwinn and Performa. I stopped in to look at stationary bikes for my husband because I thought it might be a good way to get him to move a bit. While talking to the owner, she suggested that a recumbent bike would be more stable and less strain on his back. They were great, brought it to our home and set it up just a few days later. Needless to say, he has not changed his habits much, but I've now lost 56#s and feel and look pretty good! Thanks to Sports and Fitness. Good products, great value and nice people.

After reseaching several treadmills, we came back to the Sports and Fitness Outlet in Oak Creek. Julie and her husband Chuck (the owners) were very knowlegable about the equipment, and took time to go over the features/models that would fit our needs. They even price matched another store's sale's price. Please support local businesses!

Great service and knowledgable staff! I recently bought a home elliptical. The salesperson did not steer me towards the highest price model, which I had researched and was convinced was the best. Instead, the salesperson suggested I try several different models to gauge the feel and fit of the machine. Much to my surprise, the elliptical I purchased was immediately comfortable as well as lower in price. I have gone here many times a year for things such as, ice skates, roller blades and skates, softball equipment, and skiing equipment. Every time that I have entered I was greeted by the owners and they would help me find what I was looking for. I have been extremely satisfied every time. The prices are also great. 4 years ago I went to Sports Authority on 76th street and roller blades were 3 times the amount than they were at Sport and Fitness Outlet.

If you are going to buy any fitness equipment be sure and shop here. What great bargins and the information they have is so super. they are really knowledgable about what they sell. AND on top of that they are the nicest people, especially Julie, who is the one that helped me sooo much. They also have so much merchendise for all sports and even a good selection of used eguipment for all kinds of sports. Even shoes!!!And golfing,wow, the place to go for sure.Don't miss out on this store !!!!!!!!!

This is a great place for fitness equipment. About 10 years ago we bought a home gym by Body Solid and it came with a lifetime warranty. We've used it so much we wore down one of the cables and they replaced it with no questions asked! Now we are looking for a treadmill and this is the first place to check out.

I agree with the last review. Terrible business practices. Don't ever purchase anything here. They don't know enough about their equipment. They'll be nice to your face, but they won't hesitate to rip you off. Bought a home gym from them & found it was missing parts after I got it home to set it up. I called them for help & they didn't know anything about set up or how to assist me with the parts I needed. The owner said she would call back & never did. DON'T EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE....I bought a treadmill from them for $1100, they really pushed this item on me because they new I was interested. I was younger & less knowledgable, so they saw that & took advantage. This was my entire IRS refund. The machine worked fine in the store, but they failed to mention that this machine would not support my weight. I was approximately 220lbs @ the time. The decks were repeatedly breaking & I'd have to order new decks about every 2 months. I can't even sell the thing because ... read more
