Mini-golf with non-mini crowds Sports Center of Connecticut has batting cages, a driving range (double decker too!) and an 18-hole mini-golf course. Sadly, the crowds aren't mini too! On an overcast Saturday afternoon the entire golf course was in use, one family per hole moving as slow as the slowest family. The course itself is a lot of fun with no spinning windmills or other kooky gimmicks. Its difficult enough to entertain adults but easy enough that kids can have their fun too. DON'T have a birthday party here!!! Recently had a party at the Sports Center of CT. www.SportsCenterCT.com Will NEVER make this mistake again. we had 18 kids and about 10 adults and 1 party "host" (a high school kid who was very sweet, but not very capable) - clearly insufficient for 18 kids. The kids would still be there waiting to be served if the parents didn't chip in to help. The offer of "You bring the kids and the cake, weâll do the rest!" as the web site suggests for a party there was not appropriate for a party o... read more
