Didn't know what I was missing until Dax tuned my FZ-09. It was like I had been wearing a suit that didn't fit me and got it tailored. First thing I did after buying my GSX-R1000 was go back to Dax. I have since moved to the east coast and am tempted to ship my Ducati across the country just for this service.
Dax is a consummate professional at SportBike suspension tuning. His service is worth the commute to Ramona because he's very knowledgeable and will offer his unbiased opinion on how your suspension is best set up. He did my SV650 and it was night and day when I got it back. No diving under hard braking or acceleration, cornering felt smooth and it took the bumps easily. I would not only recommend his work but would go to him for any and all suspension or tuning questions I had.
Not only is Dax very knowledgeable and friendly, My bike rides much better. My lines are better too.
Originally called to see if he could raise my bike up from a lowering link. He installed the links and set my suspension. Extremely knowledgeable dude. Thanks. Definitely feels like a whole new bike. Would definitely recommend him!
Dax tuned the suspension on my BMW HP4. This bike has electronic damping - DDC. I had just changed front and rear springs and rode the bike to see him on new tires. I couldn't give a lot of feedback and he tuned my bike. Three days later I was on the track and it was AMAZING. It felt like a different bike. I had to spend a little time learning what it feels like to have suspension in the corners. Braking became predictable. I could get out of the turns faster.
