Payton and the rest of the team at Volkswagen in Jacksonville were great. They stayed late on a Saturday to get all of the paperwork done. It was definitely a laid back and transparent car buying experience. We test drove the car, they gave us almost a week to think about it without bothering us, and then had everything ready to go to test drive again and finish all the paperwork when we returned. Sales and management are great, but the service department needs major improvement in both customer service and communication. At my last appointment: I reported a lugging noise and was brushed off with, “It’s probably cups in the door.” I raised my ongoing CarPlay issue (still not fixed after two updates). Instead of addressing it, I was told it was my cord—even though that’s the only cord that works and wireless Bluetooth hardly functions on its own.
