Amazing birth center. Miri is professional but passionate about midwifery. She is very selective with her team, and every member was excellent, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Definitely recommend getting a doula for emotional and physical support during labor.
Miri, Katie, and the rest of the team were absolutely amazing! They made me feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely cared for throughout my pregnancy and birth. I always felt confident in their knowledge, experience, and ability to guide me through every step. My Honest Review- I've contacted Spokane River Birth Center to inquire about becoming a patient. I'm a first time mom due in October. Upon contacting I was instructed to complete the online form for a consultation, which I did. After that no one followed up with me. I've called several different days and was told that my form was received and I will be contacted (contacted for what no idea) only after a 3rd phone call I was explained that the next step was to attend the in person consultation, which they didn't have a date f... read more
I recently had my second child with Spokane River Midwives (and had my firstborn there too under the previous ownership) — I cannot express how wonderful the care is from this team of women!! They are consistently practicing what they preach and practice informed consent and are consistently training the team for complications during birth to ensure they can support families in the rare circumstance things go of course during birth. I can’t say enough positive things about working with Miri and her team. They are so knowledgeable, kind, caring and compassionate. The respect autonomy and agency, and truly practice informed consent which is rare these days.
