Taking Kayla, my cat, to the vet is always quite stressful. However, visiting Sploot in Logan Square makes the experience more comforting, as they thoughtfully address all my questions and ensure she’s doing well. Overall, Kayla behaved very well during her appointment.
Very kind staff on the surface, but I have not experienced prices like this at any vet I have ever frequented. I am not frugal when it comes to my pet, but it seemed like they thought I was coming in on a budget because of their reaction when I was hesitant about the astronomical quotes they were giving me. I came in for an annual and one rabies shot. My cat’s ear was itching him so I asked if they wouldn’t mind seeing if it was bothering him, they said it would be over $650 for everything.
