I don't typically leave reviews but so far, I've been really enjoying my experience with Sploot in Logan Square. A little background: I went to another vet for years in the area primarily because their focus was on low price point pet care! While that is important, a lot of other things were missing that I felt like impacted the *quality* of care we were getting. After all, when our furry friends aren't feeling well, it's scary! My pittie Kash is a nervous boy, and Sploot Veterinary (Logan Square) was absolutely amazing with him. They made him feel so comfortable and at home that they were even able to take him to the back without me, which honestly was perfect for us because he did not feel like he needed to protect me. I’ve had pets my whole life, and I’ve never had an experience with a vet like I have at Sploot. They are amazing. So friendly and kind, the space is super clean. They’re always willing to work together on the best care for your situation, taking into account what is necessary for your pet’s wellbeing but also your finances. had a potential urgent care situation late on the 4th of July and needed to make a vet appointment for first thing the next day (a Sunday). so lucky that Sploot had an early morning appointment available! everyone working there was so kind and warm to me and my dog, explained things clearly, and it was affordable for a vet visit these days. they also didn't try to push us to switch to Sploot for our regular care (we have a longtime vet we love), which I really appreciate. love knowing they're a nearby, 7-days-a-week option w... read more
I wouldn’t recommend this vet office. While the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, I didn’t feel like they were up for the job. I brought a young kitten in that I needed to be tested (and treated if necessary) for fleas, worms, etc. I also needed them to weigh the kitten and determine the sex of it, and instead the vet just sat on the floor and fed the kitten treats from its carrier.
