I visited Splendid Cycles for the first time when my Tern cargo bike got a flat. They were so nice and let me fix my own flat but removed the rear wheel for me as it is awkward to remove without a bike stand. They only charged me for the tube, I couldn't believe it! So when it was time for me to upgrade my bike, I decided to buy it from them. They installed all my accessories, even ones I didn't buy from them. I also just love the vibe in there. Thanks Scott! - I was out on a long ride and forgot my tools and needed a quick brake check/adjustment. Scott hooked me up right away, and I was out the door in minutes. Cool shop and good people.
I was in and out for several weeks trying to decide the best cargo bike for me and my family. They were so knowledgeable and patient even with my toddler wandering around. I was able to test ride a bike for a few days. When I finally made my decision, I got a great price on a front loader they had in stock. They also setup reminders on my bike to get services. Always a good experience here!
Business has an alarm system that goes off if you are on the sidewalk outside their building after closed hours, it goes on for several minutes, then if you don't leave they connect you to a guy in India (presumably) based on the accent that that person tells you to leave. It is not illegal to be on the sidewalk and/or film on public! It is covered by the First Amendment!!!
Often, when it says they’re open, they actually aren’t. I’ve never been here successfully.
