Our pool resurfacing and coping looks just like we were promised. The reason for 4 stars is that the communication for when work would be completed could have been better and we didn’t always feel like we were a priority customer. There were a few complications along the way but they seem to be willing to correct them.
Had total renovation of 30 year old pool in 2025. Duane of Splash and I go back those 30 years. Was costly, but you get for what you pay. They brought a big project in on the timeline they promised. My experience was treat them professionally and you'll be treated professionally.
We are happy with the final product and its quality. The workers were polite, courteous and eager to help. Duane did a great job of project management. The only downside for us was at times was scheduling. There were times where the timeline felt inconsistent, and we would have liked more updates around when things were happening. We are Enjoying our outdoor space.
Warning to other contractors and subs: We provided sandblasting services for Splash Custom Pools — completed the work, no complaints, and now they refuse to pay. We've followed up repeatedly. No response. No excuse. Just outright non-payment. This is a dishonest company that takes advantage of hard-working trades. If you're thinking about working with them, get your money upfront or walk away. We’re pursuing legal action and filing a lien. Don’t get burned like we did.
We hired Splash Custom Pools to replace the broken ropes on our Coverstar automatic swimming pool cover on an indoor pool back in the spring. They told us it would be ordered and replaced within 2 months. It actually took longer than 6 months and the cover is making a loud, jerky noise when we try to close it.
