Over the years as a youth coordinator I have had occasion to hold many events at the Spiritual Center with life changing results for the youth and adults that attended. It is a place that offers quiet locations for prayer and reflection and plenty of room for youth to expend untold amounts of energy. It serves it's visitors with courtesy and professionalism. I can't say enough about the memories that I will take with me from the wonderful experiences I and many untold thousands have enjoyed at the center. Blessings
Every time I take a trip out to the Spiritual Center of Maria Stein I am never dissapointed. From going on retreats there when I was younger to taking groups of my own today, the building itself is a beautiful place to unwind and feel God's peace. The staff is more than helpful, cooks amazing meals, and helps with whatever you may need. For great facilities, private rooms with bath, a kitchen staff that fully understands what gluten free REALLY means, and the best in hospitality, this center can't be beat. Well it could if it had an in-ground pool and a spa, but for the dozens of campus retreats held here in the past few years, they get a gate pass to heaven for going out of their way to meet our needs. What a graced place!
I've been attending spiritual retreats and programs at the Spiritual Center of Maria Stein for over 15 years. I love the sense of peace, the sacred spaces very much. I often drive out and walk the grounds, as I'm blessed to live just a few miles away. A truly spiritual place. I have attended many retreats & seminars at the Spiritual Center and the accommodations and staff are always very helpful. I recently went on my own personal reflection day at the center and everything was top notch. The private room and meals were excellent. The grounds are very peaceful and well kept. I always find myself at peace when I am at here. If you don't find peace and joy in a place like this, then you aren't trying very hard.
I have had the opportunity to both come on retreat and bring students on retreat at the Spiritual Center many times over the last 15 years. The staff has always been exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the facilities are among the best among retreat houses in Ohio. Even better, the cost is very reasonable, and the food service is excellent! I don't hesitate to recommend the Spiritual Center to anyone who wants to come away for awhile and rest and pray!
