I’m so lucky to have Jeffery Reuben as my doctor. My back pain was so acute I couldn’t walk. I couldn’t be more grateful to a man who is a true professional, compassionate human being, and an excellent surgeon. His entire team was wonderful to me. Without him, I’m not sure what the future held, but I’m back to being me. Fishing, walking, biking, shrimping, and enjoying life without paralyzing pain. Thank You! I will forever be grateful to you.
I would recommend Dr. Reuben to anyone. I was in such pain when I 1st met Dr. Reuben. He listens, takes time to explain thoroughly. Appts are timely. People told me to go to Charleston - NO need! Ultimately I had surgery, after the epidurals were not effective. The whole office is a team that works together so you always have a liaison and just need to show up ! Extremely competent! Dr. Reuben has performed two surgeries on me, one for my neck and the other for my back. Both surgeries were tremendous successes. The back surgery was very complicated and required Dr. Reuben to remove metal rods and screws from a prior surgery (by a different doctor) and put in new longer rods with more screws. Prior to the surgery there were many times I could barely walk the pain was so intense. My back surgery was 4 months ago (Oct. 2024) and I am pain free. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Reuben. He throughly explained what my back issue was and exactly what he would do to fix it, in terms I understood. After the surgery I’m happy to report that for the first time in 20 years I’m completely pain free. I’m back at the gym, back to the golf course and most importantly, I’m able to play with my grandson. This has literally been a life changing surgery.
