First visit everyone was great & pleasant including Dr. Patel although seemed a little rushed and I know busy, but expected more time for a new patient. Second visit seeing his P.A. I canceled going elsewhere outside of AdventHealth, huge difference of care & compassion getting an answer & explanation for what’s going on. Previously I had to fight for an MRI after being told my low back pain down so I’m good and that’s not even the half. My 13 year old son was seen by Dr. Igboechi; he assured our family that our boy’s scoliosis would never improve. “All we can do is prevent it from getting worse.” When asked about a scoli-brace during our first appointment, Dr. Igboechi said it wasn’t necessary and made us wait 6 months before re-evaluating our son. He prescribed PT 3x weekly and told our boy to stretch his hamstrings. (We completed the full course of PT which was useless, very disruptive to our school and work schedules, and was ineffective).
