very bad surgeon - my son has been broken for all time with no care or aftercare - warning stay away - we are suing both him and qld health - does not care about patients once being paid
Do not believe that after surgery any help or additional scripts will be forthcoming even after additional tests. Very disappointed and wish I never had the surgery. Going to sue this dr and qld health now to help me with the pain I will be in for the rest of my life!!
Having suffered Cauda Equina Syndrome Dr Downes demonstrated an amazing level of skill to alleviate at least a few of the symptoms. His bedside manner is superb, he is clear, to the point and an amazingly caring professional.
Cairns is blessed to have a surgeon with the skill and demeanour of Cameron Downes. 17 years of back pain, he fixed my lower back and even found something totally unrelated and referred me to another doctor that would have otherwise gone unnoticed and killed me. Thank you Cameron.
