First time coming to this spillway it was a great experience, there wasnt much waterflow but it was still nice.
Very scenic spot many locals walk and cycle on the trail. The lake is definitely larger than how it looked on the map.
I enjoyed the open space and fresh air. It felt like a nice escape from the busy city.
Lovely multi-use trail that wraps around a local reservoir in Dallas. The spillway is also a beautiful geologic specimen of ancient limestone bedrock that sits beneath most of the region.
