I was fitted for shoes today and the process was very easy. Being a runner with very flat feet I get blisters very easily so I needed a shoe that would work for my foot! Very impressed with the service!
I loved the process of being fitted... the young man that helped me was very knowledgeable. In fact I bought two pairs of shoes and had some friends who bought sneakers as well. I live in Maine and had returned home and had a problem with one of the pairs I had bought. The bottom of one of my sneakers started pealing off. I knew I was returning to Florida in only a few weeks and could take care of it on my return trip. I sent them a msg along with pictures and they replied "bring them in". I have constantly experienced knee pain since I started running a few years ago. For flat, distance runs, the farthest I had ever conquered was a 10K. I heard about being "fitted" for shoes, but had never experienced anything like it while purchasing my running shoes in the past. Normally and in past Spikes was five star in my book. Last two experiences were less than positive. Had issue with NB high end sneakers having a defect after about 90 days and had to deal thru NB who were very accommodating. Last week went to buy a few pair of 9 4E as I wear orthotics and need larger size than I used to wear to accommodate them. First they said we have nothing in stock and then miraculously a pair of black Ascis were found which I bought. The person then tried to persuade me to take 8 1/2 4E as second pair. ... read more
