Visited for the first time yesterday, and it won't be the last! Ordered the chilli chicken because of reviews and it was fantastic! The owners of this establishment clearly put a lot of care into their food. Looking forward to trying some other menu items soon.
Great food! I tried the beef fried rice and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Definitely recommend Spicy Island!
Update: I came back and they replaced it so I have no issues with the restaurant. Just so you are aware. However, this was not pad Thai. It is just vermicelli with some weird sauce… I took a good picture that it does look like Pad Thai. Let me assure you, it is not. It tastes like boiled pasta. I’ve tried 2 separate dishes (the replacement for pad Thai was fried noodles with beef) and did not like anything… The second one wasn’t bad, okay at best. Wonderful staff-Always kind and courteous. The lunch specials are a great way to get a taste of the various options. The chili chicken is worth trying, as I'd the tofu with mixed vegetables. I haven't had the house fried rice but other people I know have and it looks delicious.
